The 'Aerodrome
Hotel' has been situated at two different sites. The first as
in the picture (below) was on the old 'Waddon Aerodrome'
with entrance from Plough Lane. |

The second 'Aerodrome
Hotel' (below) picture taken December 1927. Was
on the same old area of 'Waddon Aerodrome', not on Purley Way. |

The new Aerodrome Hotel
and the terminal buildings were built in the neo-classical geometrical
design. This new building on Purley Way, was completed in 1928
and survives as the independent Hallmark Hotel. |
