P.W.Griffith formed the company at Croydon in 1938. Operations were suspended in September 1939 due to WW2. In 1945 after the war the company resumed pre war operations adding a charter division in late 1947. Equipped with afleet of two 'Percival proctor 1', a 'Percival Proctor 3', 'Short Scion Junior', and a DH89A Rapide, they started passenger, cargo, sightseeing and arial photography charters from March 1948. During the next 12 years especially in summer, while the parent firm rebuilt aircraft, serviced them and engines.When Croydon is closed in 1959 the company moved to Biggin Hill where the three remaining 'DH Rapides' were sold in 1960.
