Rohan et Cie

From the earliest days of Waddon Aerodrome until finally being replaced by W.H.Smith in the final years of the airport, the company operated a book and magazine stall, post office and even at times as a booking agent. The shop sold postcards with it's own photographs of the airport activitioes and both local as well as visiting aircraft.

(above and below) Their premises, the earliest post office/store on the first Waddon Aerodrome, and the later more sophisticated establishment in the Terminal Building main entrance hall of Croydon Airport by Purley Way.
